Connect your Android phone or tablet and up to 10 compatible devices to the same home network or Wi-Fi router. Place equipment in different rooms, corridors or floors, then follow their activity together through ParaLink-Mesh.

Monitor an ENVIRON upstairs, watch a SpecTracer in the hallway and follow a Spirit Music Box in another room—all from one Android screen. Use supported remote controls without repeatedly walking between devices.

🏠 Use the location’s Wi-Fi coverage

Your devices don’t all need to sit close to your phone. When connected through a router, they communicate over the local network, allowing you to spread them throughout its Wi-Fi coverage.

A well-covered network can support monitoring across an entire location. Actual coverage depends on the router, walls, floors and surrounding conditions. Wi-Fi access points or compatible extenders can help reach more areas, provided all devices remain on a network that allows them to communicate.

No internet connection is required for local viewing and control—the local Wi-Fi network provides the connection.

📱 No router? Use your phone’s hotspot.

For locations without a suitable Wi-Fi network, connect your equipment through your Android phone’s hotspot instead. Position devices within hotspot coverage and monitor them through the same app.

Depending on the device, you can:

• View live displays, including radar scans, sensor readings, graphs and responses.
• Interact with supported on-screen controls.

🎥 Capture your session

Use ParaLink-Mesh’s built-in screen-recording feature to capture the connected displays for later review, investigation videos or sharing with your team.

You can also use your Android phone’s own screen recorder.

Where supported, individual devices can keep their own recordings on their SD cards. These remain separate from your phone’s screen recording.

Through a home network or Wi-Fi router

Ideal for spreading equipment around a location.

Connect your Android phone or tablet and compatible devices to the same local network, open ParaLink-Mesh and allow the devices to connect.

Position equipment throughout the network’s coverage, then view activity and use supported controls from your phone or tablet.

Through your phone’s hotspot

No suitable router at your investigation location? Use your Android phone’s hotspot instead.

Connect your devices to the hotspot, open ParaLink-Mesh and position your equipment within its coverage.

Both options support local viewing and control without an internet connection. Keep ParaLink-Mesh open during use and ensure your network allows connected devices to communicate.

⚙️ Get connected

1. Update your devices
   Install the latest compatible firmware using each device’s instructions.
2. Download the free Android app
   Log in to your Spotted: Ghosts website account and download the ParaLink-Mesh APK below.
3. Configure your connection
   Set each device to use your chosen Wi-Fi network or phone hotspot.
4. Open ParaLink-Mesh
   Power on your devices and allow them to initialise and connect.
5. Position your equipment and investigate
   Follow live activity, use supported remote controls and record your session.

For SpecTracer and Spirit Talker Lite, network details can be configured through the wifisettings.txt file on the device’s SD card. Follow the individual setup instructions for other devices.
